Egyptian Mayar Sherif raises the name of the Middle East and North Africa in tennis

Mayar Sherif has become the first Egyptian woman to win a Women's Tennis Alliance tournament. After winning the inaugural Parma Women's Open, Mayar joins Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur in raising the profile of North Africa among tennis champions.
